Mrs. Louise Virginia Brooks Mellerup

Let us remember with gratitude the life of Louise Virginia Brooks Mellerup, wife of retired Reverend Richard David Mellerup, who finished her course in faith on February 11, 2012, in Bangor, Maine at the age of 82. The Reverend Mellerup served appointments in the Troy Conference before transferring to the New York Conference in 1978. His ministry in the New York Conference included the following charges: Milton & Marlboro, Jefferson Parish, Grahamsville & Sundown, all in New York State and entered retirement in 1983.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Louise is survived by a son, Richard David Mellerup, and a daughter, Lori Ann Mellerup, of Bangor, Maine; along with five sisters.
A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, April 29, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Orono United Methodist Church, Orono, Maine. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Orono, Maine.
