We announce the death of Bettie Lee Carothers Clarke, wife of the Reverend Philip A. C. Clarke, who finished her course in the faith on March 12, 2010 in Portland, Maine at the age of 78 years. Rev. Clarke served in the New York Annual Conference at The Park Avenue United Methodist Church in New York City for 40 years before retiring in 1999. In addition to her husband, Rev.
